Ustaz Mizi Wahid: A Scholar’s Entrepreneurial Journey
Early Education:

  • Mizi Wahid, also known as Ustaz Mizi Muhammad Tarmizi bin Abdul Wahid, began his educational journey at Al-Azhar University in Cairo, specializing in Islamic Law.

Service at Islamic Religious Council:

  • After graduation, he dedicated two and a half years to the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore, working in the Office of the Mufti department.

Entrepreneurship Ventures:

  • Ustaz Mizi Wahid’s entrepreneurial spirit started spark during his study time. And now with over 15 years of entrepreneurial experience, he founded Safinah Institute in Singapore in 2009, establishing it as a prominent Islamic education center.

Passion for Business:

  • Ustaz Mizi Wahid’s enduring passion revolves around igniting inspiration within individuals through his business ventures. He also extends his expertise to coach small and medium-sized entrepreneurs, offering them the vital support system needed to navigate and foster business growth.
  • He is also an active investor and advisor to several start-ups in Singapore and Malaysia – in the tech and services industry. Other than that, he also sits on the Boards of a few non-profits in Singapore. And was recently appointed the role of President for PERGAS.

ARRIVAL AT ISTANBUL

 

Upon your arrival in Istanbul, you will be transferred to the luxurious CVK Park Bosphorus Hotel, your comfortable abode for the upcoming days. Take some time to rest and unwind from your journey while enjoying the hotel's warm hospitality. An orientation session, following dinner, will set the tone for the inspiring journey ahead.

  • After breakfast, bid adieu to Istanbul and embark on a journey to Bursa – a city steeped in history and natural beauty. Upon reaching Bursa, settle into the comfort of the Sheraton Bursa Hotel.

SKIING IN ULUDAG & LOCAL BURSA CUISINE

Following breakfast, get ready for an adventurous day as you head to Uludağ, Bursa's renowned ski resort. Spend your day skiing and snowboarding amidst stunning mountain landscapes and enjoy a delightful picnic lunch at a cozy mountain lodge. As the day winds down, relish a group networking dinner that introduces you to the flavors of Bursa's local cuisine.

BURSA EXPLORATION AND RETURN TO ISTANBUL

Begin your day with a satisfying breakfast and embark on an exploration of Bursa's historical gems, including the Grand Mosque and Bursa Castle. In the afternoon, return to Istanbul and settle into the historic ambiance of Han 1772 Historical Hotel. Gather for dinner, celebrating the knowledge and connections gained throughout the retreat.

As you prepare to board your flight, remember that the knowledge and connections gained during this retreat will continue to fuel your entrepreneurial journey long after the retreat concludes. The time taken to travel from Istanbul to Bursa is approximately 2 - 3 hours without any stops.

  • Buy Liras in Malaysia according to your own budget, and once you are in Turkey, use your debit card if you need to spend more.
  • It is advisable to use USD for large/expensive purchases and to use lira for daily expenses

It depends on the content and the guest group leader of the package. Also, the price of tour packages depends on each company’s appointed operator and each operator has different rates.

Personal medications, adequate winter outfits, cameras, powerbanks, phone chargers, suitable plug-ins, instant foods, 3-in-1 meals and beverages.

  • Yes you may cancel however the deposit is refundable within one month of the deposit date.
  • If you cancel one month in advance, you will receive a 50% refund. If you cancel less than two months before your trip, there will be no reimbursement. OR
  • The reservation is transferable to other destinations and dates, subject to availability.

The refund policy is as follows:

  1. 30 - 59 days before the departure date:
    •  Only 50% refund of the total package is applicable.
  2. 20 - 29 days before the departure date:
    • Only 20% refund of the total package is applicable.
  3. 19 days before the departure date:
    • No refund will be provided from the total package you have paid.
